Rice balls are a unique way of preparing and eating your favorite brown rice.You will need to shape already cooked brown rice into balls the size of ping-pong balls. Make sure to dip your hands in cold salted water to prevent sticking.
- Roll the balls in toasted sesame seeds, mashed and cooked beans, or chopped nuts.
- Alternatively you can lightly push "ume" a pickled plum or grilled salmon in the center.
- Wrap in toasted Nori sheets(found at your local health-food or Asian market)
These are great to prepare the night before. Great for traveling.
